Another good point.  From the standpoint of cost effectiveness, I'm
betting that Peter's suggestion on the new NiHM rechargeables is one of
the best ways to go, especially given the relatively quick recharge time
and the number of flashes provided.  This is not an option I've explored
in depth, but given different power requirements for different shooting
situations (and different needs for recycle times), I'd have to say that
unless you need to take a flash shot every couple of seconds or so, the
NiMH option would be highly desireable.
