Hi All

I was snooping around B&W's (Schneider-Optics) website today and came
across an interesting tid-bit in their "Filters for Still Photography" FAQ.
Item #3 caught my attention. It says "If your filter does not have any of
these designations (multi-coated or MRC), then it does not have a
multi-coating on it".

I've purchased several B&W 77mm Circ-Pol and 010-UV filters over the past
couple of years and the only designations are "77 010 UV-Haze 1x F-PRO"
and "77 Circular-Pol F-PRO".

Does this mean these filters are not multi-coated?
(For the price of these filters - they should be multi-coated).

Is there someway that I can tell if the filters are multi-coated just by
looking at them?

I checked out Hoya's website (about the same price as B&W's) and they make
a point of saying how good their multi-coated filters work.

Thanks
Rob
