I'm experiencing an extrage phenomen. My 10D is sometimes blacking out while shooting. The viewfinder goes black: I mean the green info (f/stop, shutter speed,...). The optical path is not blocked!. The shutter won't release although the top LCD shows normal operation (the camera is still on) and batteries are OK. The camera goes back normal after a random period of time (seconds) and I can resume shooting.
It has happened twice in the last days and I'm still not able to isolate the cause. Yesterday I was using a OCSC2 and before installing it everything was OK so I decided to remove it but after I didn't use the camera long enough to get the problem again so I couldn't say for sure. It's suspect #1, though. I also recall that I had an almost empty battery in the pack and instead of removing it, I inserted a fresh one next to it. (suspect #2, although I've done this many times)
Has anybody experienced something like that to cross notes?
