Tricky subjectline, I know ! Today I overheard a discussion about the 300D and 10D. According to what I heard is that internally these two camera's are exactly the same, but some software has been changed / blocked by Canon so that not all functions are available on the 300D. Apparently somebody outside Canon has hacked the firmware which allows all 10D functions to be used on the 300D.
A few questions: A. Can anyone confirm / deny that this story is true ? B. Does anyone have any experience with this "upgrade" ? C. Where could I get it if I wanted it ? Just curious, no other intentions. I plan to buy an EOS-1D II as my very first digital camera, so I won't try it....
