I use a camera id as part of my file name. I only have one digital camera at
the moment, but have film bodies and I use the same file name/numbering
system. I rename after I have downloaded, but I guess when I get a second
digital body, I will rename as I dl, using DLPro.

What is the problem of dl to different directories? I don't understand. All
you have to do is dl to different directories, rename, and then put them in
the same directory. Simple. The only way I could see that this is a problem
is if you don't rename, and you will eventually have the same problem with
one body anyway, so not renaming is not an option.
