I agree with Jim.  Sooner or later *any* RT you buy will suffer the
same problem. If you really like the RT then a shutter repair will
see it in working shape for many years.

Alternatively you could return it and try to find an RT which has
*already* had the shutter repair done.  I did that a few years ago,
I found one which had documented proof of recent repair.  It was
cheaper than buying one and paying for the repair, but it's a bit of
a lottery to find one like that.... I looked for a loooong time :)
