I have used a Kenko Pro 1.4 and it worked fine. I shot a variety of animals, did a trip to a zoo and caught an eclipse. I was happy. Saddly though, I am goingto be putting up both my Kenko Pro's up for sale (both are mint), I have a 2x and 1.4x. If you would be interested, please drop me a line. Both are complete with boxes. Justcan't justify havingwhen I am not using.
