I don't care much about Photodo (though admittedly has glanced more
then once), but no doubt the only "snap" and a kind of 3D I experienced
once acquired by 28-70L. And I did shoot with Tokina 28-70/2.6-2.8 ATX
PRO II, Minolta 28-85/3.5-4.5 (both in Minolta mount) and Canon 28-135
IS.
Minolta 28-85 turned to be an improvement over supposed to be excellent
Tokina (that in turn became a dissapointment), 28-135 IS was not bad at
all, but until I tried my 28-70L.
The difference is readily noticeable even at humble 10x15 prints, not
to mention slides and enlargements. The subjects just jump out of the
image providing that 3D quality, something I never experienced with
other lenses I tried.

So in my case, no need to persuade me trying to convince, the only
judge is a real experience. So this is what I wish you as well.

Regards, Alex
