I am, possibly, very excited. As long as it's as
solid and well equipped as the 10d (and it looks
pretty much like the 10d body), and not a fancy Rebel,
I'll take one. I hope they didn't save the 50g by
substituting a hollow mirror "prism" instead of the
real prism in the 10d, and I hope the EF-s support
doesn't mean a mirror that's so short it vignettes
with certain lenses.
I'm not convinced the difference between 6 and 8 Mp
makes much difference for most things, but I'm very
enthused about 5 fps, the 25 frame buffer, E-TTL II,
and the almost instant start-up. In fact, I'd say the
startup delay is the single most aggravating thing
about the 10d.
Can't wait to learn more,
