Since we're mentioning the competition, Minolta has
also announced their new DSLR, the Dynax (Maxxum) 7D.
The most interesting feature is in-body AS
(anti-shake) technology, that moves the CCD sensor to
counteract vibration, rather than moving lens elements
as Canon and Nikon do.

(They even have a white lens to go with it!)

Nikon has also introduce another new film, the F6.
The body appears to be much smaller than the current
F6, more like the F100, and will apparently replace
both:

It appears to have a separate booster, like the EOS 1
film series bodies, 5fps / 8fps (with booster), the
new AF system from the digital bodies, 9 widely spaced
AF sensors (the only thing I see so far that I wish
Canon would borrow), a rear LCD screen, and 41 custom
functions. It uses a full frame, 24x36mm,
interchangeable, silver based image sensor/storage
unit, which will be sold by various 3rd party
manufacturers in cartridges containing 24 or 36 image
sensor/storage units.
