If that were the price in the US I'd say it's high, but I know these things go for more in Europe. Best way to know if it's a good deal is to get on Ebay, search for CANON 1V Camera, and pick the search options to get 'Completed' auctions only. That'll get you to the amounts that people actually paid. Do note that not all the auctions you see actually ended in a sale, so look at the detail of the auctions that look similar in content to what you're checking to see if those are actual selling prices or not. That'll get you a comparable on the 1V, and also give you a good idea what to ask for the EOS 3.
