I get one third spam a day. It's annoying.
Oh yes, I understand that. I get 150 spams a working day and 450 spams a weekend; so I "hear you" :-)
Most are filltered, but others slip trough. That's all i can say.
Yes, but it's good to also visually scan the filtered messages too from time to time, otherwise you'll surely one day have a friend asking you why you didn't reply to his/her email :-) And there's even some spam titled "why didn't you answer" to make matters worse :-)
I don't have any problem with viruses. I've a Mac.
Excellent! I'd like to have one too, they have this aura of being different and better, especially in imaging. And they even have a unix shell.
And I delete mails with a strange name.
Good, but risky. "Strange" is so only until a spammer figures your way of deciding it's strange.
Look, would you delete a message written in Flemish saying "Tiger photos must be shot at 1/8000s on tripod so they're not shaken; and then transferred over FireWire only"? I bet you'd be intrigued by this, at least the first 2 seconds.
