EOS DNG has me scared

adding to my other comment about my fear of formats and future 
compatibility, now that Adobe has created their OWN "raw" format, 
it's just a question of time before they try to strong-arm canon, 
nikon and such to adopt THEIR format. At least that's what I'm 
worried about. We'll see how long .cr2 and the rest are supported. It 
will be a HUGE pain when no modern program can read your ancient MKII 
(whatever) files.


snipIf Canon felt the need to update their format already, how will 
Adobe's new
DNG format fare.
Surely whenever Canon, or Nikon, or anybody else wants to add extra
features, then DNG won't deliver.
