Hi Tom,

I used to have an EF 135 2L and the day after I sold it was the day I missed
it. At the time I sold it I was shooting sports and thought it very
unlikely that I would buy an EOS 1Ds. With the EOS 1D's 1.3x crop factor my
EF 85 1.8USM makes a fine compromise at about 110mm 35mmEFOV. So I figured
that I would just buy the next EOS 1D whatever it was and keep my original
EOS 1D as a second body. Well guess what, I bought an EOS 1Ds instead to be
better equipped for architectural work. I've been Jonesing for my old EF
135 2L ever since. With small sensor bodies the EF 85 1.8USM gives you
almost a perfect 135mm 35mmEFOV, the EF 85 1.8USM is not as brutally honest
as the EF 135 2L but pretty good. The lesson I learned was if you ever get
a good deal on an EF 135 2L buy it and KEEP IT!

Cheers/Chip
