I assume you are talking about Pocket Wizards. Seem fairly expensive to me. I plan on getting some but not for a while. I know of no way to send the camera image wirelessly from a 1D MKII. There are other solutions besides PW but the PW are the most common among pros.



Other than that, the 20D scores 98/100 on my chart - with two points kept for not having support of wireless IR remote controller.

During the Olympic Games somebody posted pictures of wirelessly controlled 1DmII's aligned at the finish line of the 100m race, wide angle lenses. One could read a company name on the device attached to the flash grip, then I googled it and found a website manufacturing such devices. Relatively expensive IIRC.

This is current practice at football (soccer) events too: one no longer
sees humans with cameras behind the goals, but a row of cameras on small
tripods on the ground.

I was also wondering whether those 1DmII's were sending images back to
the human button-pusher somehow via this flash-grip'ed device (there was
no WLAN grip for EOS at that time).
