I know this part is off topic, but one of the benefits of where I live
(Coastal Gulf of Mexico, USA) is that we get fresh shrimp, trout,
redfish, etc., practically jumping out of the gulf and onto our plates.
Generally, we have to remove them from our plates and cook them first,
but that's part of the fun.

I get so *sick* of fresh seafood.  ;-)

But this thread inspires me to perhaps think about a trip to some of our
own fresh seafood markets just to see what I can photograph.  Sometimes
we're surrounded by things of photographic interest that we have ceased
to notice because of so much day-to-day contact.  I'm a 10-minute drive
from just such a location, and I think I'm inspired by the thread.
