Hi, I'm in the process of buying some studio flash lights for use at home. I currently shoot an EOS30 and am torn between buying a 5600K system for use with film or a cheaper 3200K and using a 80a filter for film with the view to get a 20D when the price drops (and somewhere has them in stock!).
How reliable is the colour rendition using 3200K lights and 80a filters? Also I want this kit for portrait/ glamour photos and was thinking of getting the Interfit CyberFlash heads to save space but am aware I need a unit for a hair light. If I were only to get 2 Cyberflash's would I be missing out not being able to attach a snoot? If I were to buy traditional flash units would the 150J or 300J Interfit lights be suitable for film cameras in a fairly small studio (large spare bedroom at home). All the courses I have been to used 500J+ units but the studios were a bit bigger. I understand for a Digital Camera one can use lower power units. Thanks for any help.
