We are just receiving another EOS 1000F this week, which we bought
in eBay because of its compact 28-200 mm zoom and as a matter of
precaution, to duplicate ours, BEFORE we were aware of our problems, only
paying EUR 56.99 (i. e. USD 44.71) for it and including carrying strap and
bag, lens hood and manual. Let us hope it currently is in a better state
than ours.
However, I indeed have those sentimental reasons to also keep our
old companion, a present of my parents, alive.
