What should I check in order to see whether everything is ok with this lens?
My 70-200 f/4 fell on concrete floor from the waist bag where it was supposedly securely attached. Lens had the shade mounted (reversely) and both lens caps on, no filters.
The shade has one of the three locking pins almost broken, but it still revolves around the front lens fine and locks in. The back cap has a "level" push on a corner. No scratches on the front glass even though the front cap was 1meter away after fall. The lens focuses as before, same sound, I don't see any difference.
What should I check to find out whether everything is ok with this lens? What are the other risks? Shade deformed - vignetting?
