I have an EOS 1000FN, which has the same mirror box as the previous model 1000F. Yes, you can flip the mirror up on its hinge to see the front of the shutter curtains. If you are going to try this, wash your hands, wear gloves, and prop up the mirror with a toothpick or match. Watch out for the secondary mirror behind the main mirror. Cheers Julian Loke P.S. Why would anyone want to do this? A camera is used for taking pictures. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
