OK learned list members.... ...I know I need a new PC but for the time being I'm soldiering on with a six(?) year old PII 450 and WinMe.
I want to load my name and a tone curve in to the camera. EVU1.2>Options>Camera Settings>Basic Settings recognises the camera and reports the model, Body No., Firmware version, date/time and Battery status BUT shows the CF card as "Not installed". Trying to load my name or parameters, etc. produces nothing and trying to use EOS Capture produces the error message "Failed to communicate with camera. Check connections". The really weird bit is that Camera and Scanner Wizard recognises the camera, card and contents. I have emailed Canon Europe support but so far no reply. Any ideas?
