See. I told you WJM was a troublemaker :-) Beware, the tripod mount ring is not physically compatible with the battery pack/grip of some EOS cameras. I have to remove the BP-300 from my Elan 7E, and the BG-E2 from my EOS 20D if I want to use the TMR-A. A more useful alternative is to use a Manfrotto Macro Flash Bracket. http://db.manfrotto.com/product/templates/itemalone.php3?itemid=352 I can even use the same device with any of my other lenses, and not just the EF 100 macro.
