with regard to the various vendors discussed, I can't recall if I 
mentioned buydig or not. I'm a retiree, not affiliated with them but 
I've bought two Canon GL2 video cameras from them as well as assorted 
other things and have had no problems. It's all USA warranty stuff 
and I did in fact have to have one repaired under warranty. Do note, 
however, their return policy. It's upfront but  stringent.
