Hi all, and a preemptive happy new year...
I'm starting to build a macro flash bracket similar to what John Shaw shows in his book "Close ups on Nature". But to do so I'll need to get an extension cord that is E-TTL capable. I have a couple of questions though.
First - is there a third party cord that will work as well as the Canon Off Camera Shoe Cord 2? The price seems pretty high considering that the it is a simple electronic connection.
Second - will this cord support the new E-TTL 2 system? I would think it would but as I'll have to special order a cord I'd like to be sure.
Third - any hints or insights on building/using such a bracket?
