Hmmm...for many years, I was led to believe it was not just slow, but
also rather soft....wide-open that is (why else buy one)....and no
problem at all for the typical portrait photographer of course.
IsarFoto in Germany still lists the 85/1.2 btw (a high-end/nature
photo outfitter).
