I love the EOS sysyem, but if you want to see blinding contrast and sharpness, and almost 3D pictures or chromes, shoot with the Contax G lenses, 20/35/45/90, all are simply fantastic, on quirky cameras, but stellar lenses!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------- I too have the 135mmF2L, it is superb and tack sharp, but as to portraits, unless I am shooting young children you need a softening filter as it will show every crevice on a woman's face and this is something they do not want. As to the Contax, great lenses but it is not an SLR so you have to gauge things with a viewfinder. It works well, but there is no path to digital with Contax. I think they are dying a slow death along with Film.
