Francis,

Not off topic at all, you would need the appropriate filter for the
lighting whether incandescent or fluorescent.
I would assume incandescent lighting but each does burn at a somewhat
different temperature so color compensation varies a bit. That being
said you can use filters usually designated by CC30 with a letter
following it to indicate type of light. You will lose a stop. 
You may be better of using a high speed B&W film like TMax3200. No
filtering and no loss of speed.
