I've enabled myself with an EF20mm 2.8 and it arrived this morning :-)

First impressions - boy is that a light (as in weight) lens. It's
definately not L, but it's not bad at all. I wanted something a bit wider
than the 24-70, reasonable max aperture, and not too heavy. A street
lens, a grab lens, call it what you will. I also like the discipline that
primes give - so it looks like I might have found it. Although 20mm, it
gives an apparent angle of view on the 1D as a 26mm, so plenty wide for
groups, little scenarios, landscapes, just about anything.

Can't get over the weight - you know when you're coming down the stairs
and you think you're at the bottom, but in fact there's an extra step -
and you miss a beat. It's like that :-)

I'll shortly be eBaying a Sigma 14mm 2.8 in EOS.

Cheers,
  Cotty
