A HUGE advantage for a pellicle mirror (EOS RT/RS) version would be
that the sensor surface would be permanently isolated from the outside
world (by the mirror).  That, and the ability to view the scene
continuously via the *optical* viewfinder throughtout the exposure.

The small loss of "speed" would be a small price to pay.
