This month's issue of Chasseur D'Images speculates on a replacement of the 20D to face Nikon's "September offensive" (a D80 with 10 MP is rumored to replace the D70). A new cmos of 10 MP (or more) would be developed until then. Makes sense to me. Besides, it seems that performance of the 350D matches that of the 20D and there aren't that many differences in terms of features. Yet, the price gap between the 2 models is quite significant (too significant?). I believe the 350D will have a negative effect on the sales of the 20D. Maybe the short term solution is to lower the 20D price.
