Hi Gill:

My old 1n had the same problem and had to be sent in to replace the motor. The cost was pretty high but it has been working flawless since. For the going price for a used EOS 3 and 1n, I would just get another used one or upgrade to Dslr.

Just my 0.02

Subject: EOS1N repair

Hi
i am new member to this mailing list from Lahore Pakistan. My EOS1N recently stop working. Earlier it was giving b.c.error on each shot while attaching normal battery pack 2CR5 . When booster was attached it worked perfectly. Few days back it stop working. Unfortunately in this part of the planet no authorize repair or service center from Canon. Local technician detected board problem and thus was sent through a friend to Canon U.K. But they have shown their unability to repair being old body and non-availability of parts. i am approaching my colleagues on this forum to kindly advise and comments on experience of repair in the U.K/USA. Gear is in immaculate condition. Thanks in advance.
Gill
