I don't know of a place that compares them, but I've always suspected
that the Gitzo Mountaineer Carbon Fibre tripod was the end-all-be-all of
lightweight heacy duty tripods.  It is even cheap enough that it fits on
most credit cards.

Thanks a lot for sharing me your experience. Although I like them, looks like 
Gitzo and Arca are a little bit out of my wallet reach, so I think I will 
settle with the Manfrotto 190PROB with a 3039 super pro head (around $300 at 
B&H)
