You've hit the nail on the head, Henning. The build quality and handling of the Canon top-spec line is second to none. When I first joined the ranks of the digitally-enabled, I picked up a D60 and became fond of it. After a couple of years, I sold the D60 and managed to get a 1DmkII. The step up was astonishing, for all the reasons listed by Henning above. In fact, if I could go back in time and have a quick word with myself as I was searching for the best price on the D60, I would have told myself not to bother - instead find a used original 1D. If you're thinking of a new 20D right now, but secretly think that you would prefer something a little better, in fact a lot better - get a used 1DmarkII. Or stretch to a new one - with the prices dropping lower and lower, they represent amongst the best value for money IMO. Just a few ramblings :-) Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
