BTW, is there a custom function to limit the number of focal points to 9 and/or 5 points? If so that would be great. If you let the camera chose the focal points you would use all 35 points but if you chose them manually you could limit it to 5/9 points. That reminds me to a really neat feature on my previously owned Minolta camera. With just a press of a button you could switch between custom settings. I used to have one setting for manual work. Once in a while I wanted to switch to some automatic features quickly. This was very easy to do on the Minolta. I wish Canon would have something like that.
