Their page on the 24-105 f/4 IS L confirms it is internal focus and
zoom, and has this interesting quote:
"Chuck Westfall, Canon USA's Director of Media and Customer
Relationship, says that based on a brief look at the EF 24-105 f/4L IS
USM by Canon USA staff, he's expecting that it will be optically as
good, if not better, than the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM."
That's good to hear, considering the $1249 MAP listed is ~$100 more
than the going price for the 24-70 f/2.8 L from reputable dealers. I'm
really interested in this lens, but I originally hoped it might be in
the same range as the other f/4 L zooms, rather than twice that much...
