Hi Jim, Welcome back. It's just been quiet for a long time here. I think that many of the other websites have given people a place to go that is perceived as being better than a list server so they go. I've been reading both the sites and the list for a long time and the quality of some of the sites has improved beyond very good. Also websites can provide a better place for putting news and info out than a list can so lists tend to start large and then shrink to a core group until the info that the smaller core group can provide has been shared by all and there is less and less to say. It's a common specialized group dynamic and they all have fixed lifespan. The EOS list has actually past that point a few years ago and we are reaching the third phase where those who left are coming back to see what is left of what they helped to start and finding not a lot happening drift back off to where ever was capturing their attention for the last many months or year. Nobody's fault it's just a social dynamic cycle I've noticed and with the creation of the web it's a bit shorter because of the bandwidth vs. phones or meetings.
