Kodak did that in their full-frame bodies. I believe it corrected both
color and distortion. I forget if it was based on a database of lenses
or if it had a learning mode. I think the latter. Unfortunately, it
didn't work that well (like the rest of the body). It's now
discontinued. DCS14 I think it was. Something-14 anyway... 14 MP.
Available in Canon and Nikon mounts.
