I am new to digital EOS and bought a 4GB card for my new EOS 5D
When formatted it only shows 1.8 Gb. The instruction manual suggests
compatibility with "2Gb and more"
Have I bought the wrong card, or am I doing something else wrong?

There's a small dip switch on the side of the card. Set it to position
1. Fixed.
BTW you will get about 3.7 GB formatted.

I do normally read instructions, but I did not imagine there was
anything to do other than stick it in the slot.
