That's correct.
I've found that lens hood EW83H from 24-105 f/4 L IS lens fit my 16-35 f/2.8
L nicely and do not vignet, even on full frame camera.
I never like nor use original the 16-35 lens hood, since it is to wide, big,
and really takes space in the camera bag.
