The EOS list seems fairly quiet. Folks are probably with family and
friends at this time of year. Hope you and yours are having a
comfortable and peaceful festive season.
Meanwhile, I'm dipping my toes into home renovation. Bought our first
house and I'm keeping an illustrated diary. All pics using EOS 1D mark
II and various lenses, though usually the EF 24-70mm 2.8 L
Warning: if you're not into home renovations, look away now!

Happy holidays.

Congratulations on your first house / home...... It looks nice.
Yes, the thrill of opening a box with new tools is somewhat like opening
the box with an EOS-5D in it......
Count your blessings that Stefan did not need surgery. A similar thing
happened with Steve, our eldest son, many years ago. The surgeon was
all set to cut but our family doc convinced him to hold off. Like
Stefan ,Steve had some sort of severe stomach bug.
But the in July of '05 my appendicitis wasn't so easy. Mine peforated!
Three wekks after a total knee replacement! Boy, were the docs and my
family concerned. Then to continue this story, a few weeks ago, my wife
went through the same ordeal that I did, without the knee replacement.!
They keep telling us that appendicitis is not contagious......
Keep the story updated with photos.
