I just stumbled on an interesting article about a new color management system developed by Microsoft and Canon. Some of the highlights are:
-native support for Canon RAW images -better screen-to-print matching due to -new color infrastructure and translation engine -monitor calibration wizard While you probably can't through out your Spiders, EyeOnes, etc you might be able to through out that MAC...;) I think this is quite exciting for all the amateurs and everybody who can't afford the expensive calibration tools. The support for the raw format is really cool, too...
