The Nikon 8400 8mp had a 24-70mm zoom lens and the new
Kodak P880 8mp has a 24-105mm zoom lens. The Nikon
has been out for over a year.

There are a lot of times that I need a record camera with me and am
not in a position to carry a DSLR or even an 8400 with me. The 570
has appealed to me for that reason as well.
