Made some tests... Planned all the weeding from the morning in the house of the wife till the start of dinner.. After it I'm still guessing...
The wedding starts at 16.30, but I think I will wake up early, go to the church ad get some shots of the details, flowers, tapestry... I think I will use this settings: In church (very high and dark ceiling HOW FORUNATE!.. coloured glasses dark windows...) I will use: EFS 17-85 MAX aperture and 1/10 - 1/15 shutter speed (hope IS helps) EF 70-300 MAX aperture and 1/30 - 1/50 shutter speed (HOPE IS HELPS A LOT :D) EF 50 f/1.8 at f/2.2 to get some cool blurred background portraits (I was thinking some shots of bride and groom after the ceremony itself, me and the alone in the church) All of this in Manual Mode using the E-TLL II to compensate for the right light - With LightSphere II on and no dome mounted (flipped up) - I've chosen the clear and not cloud LS because of the very poor lighting of the church... I'll set my 580 EX to + 2/3 FEC And YES I have only one body (350D) so swapping the lens will be crucial, but if the scheduled times are respected I've planned I can do that not in a rush... The 50 will be putted on only at the end (a pity because is my fastest lens...) Outside the church (before and after): I will use EFS 17-85 for all the shots in natural light (very good lit place..) I will be shooting in AV to get in focus only what I want and leave the camera calculate the speed (I think it's impossible to go lower than 1/125 in that setting). All thin with the 580EX on pointing front (classic position) LS on and dome on. At the reception: I have some time with the bride and groom and this weekend I will be in the location to study some cool spots to get the right shots alone with the couple... Here I thin I will use the same setup as outside the church, but I will use my 50mm at a very open aperture for portraits... After this I don't really know, shot of circumstance like the cut of the cake and the throw of the bride flowers (how's its name in English...!!! :D) but anything else defined... All in RAW and not in RAW+JPEG (I get about 90 more shots on a 2GB card)... Generating JPEGS later... Still bothering you all :) Thanks for the patience!!!
