For owners of older generations Kodak/Canon DSLR's, struggling to find an universal PCMCIA-reader, instead of changing the in-camera card to an CompactFlash -> PCMCIA adapter-card (some/most/all? of which will not fit inside a device/camera, hence only good for reading CF-cards into a computer (with PCMCIA-slot)), I finally found a decent solution....a PCMCIA -> Compact-Flash adapter (and from there to any modern/cheap USB multi-card reader of course, including storage-devices (harddisk or CD/DVD-burner) with a matching slot:
