Well, you just shot my main idea down...... 2.03 is supposed to fix
problems with certain CF cards. How long is "some time" did this
happen prior to upgrading to 2.03? If not, maybe you can find a
downlevel version of firmware or reinstall 2.03.
If possible try another brand of CF card.
Have you asked CAnon about the problem?
