I'm with Jim on this one, the 28-135 IS is a great lens to have at all
times. Although the 50mm f/1.8 is also a nice lens to have in low-light.

I used to have the 28-135 (actually, 2 of them) and used it on film
and then digital. Now I have the 24-105 - a massive difference in
quality, except for vignetting and distortion, and those things are
fixable in processing.
