hi guys...
i want to get into infra red photography...
I m unwilling to convert my camera to the purpose solely...
Instead i m quite willing to use longer exposures...

I now own the ongear lense 18-55mm lense which is notorious for
getting a HOT SPOT with IR filters. so might add canon 50mm 1.8 lense.

My question is which infrared filter should i use with EOS 350D Hoya
RM72 OR R72..
The only difference i have been able to google betwn both is
R72 passes only infrared rays above 720nm; RM90 passes only that above 900nm.

Since i don't quite understand what will that mean to my camera.
I can't decide which filter to choose.
CAN some one help me with this...

regards
rush.
