You sound like your feathers are ruffled over this discovery. But Nabble seems to be providing a service at no charge.

I do not know if Nabble is the official or unofficial repository of these highly unclassified words we exchange here in the EOS group. But you should have no presumption of privacy when you publish anything on the internet.

I already knew how to find that info, but it doesn't explain why there's an apparent archive of our listserv floating around at their website. I just want to know that they're legal, safe, non-hackable, non-invasive, non-threatening, and non-nosy! Whois is a great tool, but I still
wonder just who Nabble really is...
