Canon will probably be happy to sell you repair manuals, but I wouldn't be surprised if they cost more than the lens did new. Even if you can disassemble and reasassemble it, you may still end up with a useless lens. It's critical to lens performance that all the elements be aligned on their optical centers. To get this right by eye would be a stroke of luck--you really need an optical bench to do it. Bob Meyer I don't suffer from insanity...
