I am not special, nor do I want to get my hands onto 
everything....;))....but there is at least one DSLR (or was it a 
hybrid with permanent-mounted lens?) that can do life preview, 
through the mirror (I would assume; another sensor in the viewfinder 
sounds a bit too complex, and most have a semi-transparant mirror 
anyway).

That said, I now ponder how one might incorporate the ZigView 
auxiliary electronic viewfinder-extension/monitor in all 
this....would be fun if anyone was able to convert *that* one to IR-
view only....:))
